Good afternoon everyone,
While out running my bootcamp this week. I thought about the vast amount of child obesity in our society. So I thought that I would talk a little bit about how to improve in your own household if this in fact is an issue for you or someone you may know.

It is often said that a family that prays together stays together. I find that to be very true. Well this is also the case with activity and eating habits. Take a walk to the local park with your child, or walk the dog together. Go out and maybe play a little catch. Get out in the beautiful outdoors together. Set the example. Go for a bike ride together.

If video games are an issue. Set a time limit. Get a wii. Play wii fit, or dance revolution. But still, make time for outside activities as a family as well.

Set the example with eating habits with healthy food snack choices. Keep fresh fruits and raw veggies in the fridge for convenience. Low fat yogurts and string cheese, raw and roasted nut snacks are great ideas as well. Again set the example and as a family snack with good decisions.

Crystal light and 100 percent juice are great choices as well as plain water with lemon.

Children will follow your lead. Healthy choices do not have to be boring. Try fat free jellos and puddings. Frozen fat free pudding pops. Have fun and make great choices. Keeping your family healthy.

Introducing The First Health & Wellness Coach At Your Service!!

Hello everyone. First of all "Thank You" so much for joining me. It brings me great honor to help you acheive all your health & wellness goals. Let me tell about who I am & why I'm qualified to help. My name is D. Franklin. I have been actively involved in wellness for more than twenty years. I belive that you can achieve any goal that you set your mind to. I can help you bridge the gap from where you are today to the goals that you want to achieve. I know what it is like to have low self esteem about oneself. At one point in my life, I no longer was an active athlete of the past. I gained from a healthy 130 pounds to a very unhealthy 296 pounds. I now am a competitive bodybuilder at approximately 150 pounds.

I am not suggesting bodybuilding, just fit from the innerself. The outerself will in turn emerge. I do understand being upset and eating for self soothing. Looking for the answers and unable to find them. I can help you get past all of that. I understand not knowing what foods to choose. I can help you through that also. I understand not having an ear that understands your inner most feelings. I can assist you through that as well. I understand not having the needed support. Well you now have all of my support!
